The First Seoul Youth Creativity Summit

The Symposium that took place in 2008 was a festival, a gathering of education and a symposium to prepare for the “Seoul Youth Creativity Summit” which is to be held annually from 2009. Under the theme “ What is Creativity?” experts, craftsmen, teachers and youths around the world, who have been interested in diverse experiences and experiments in youth education fields and career path-finding gathered in a festival to experience and discuss in various groups.

This year, under the title ‘Creativity Meets Life in Crisis’, we will talk about creativity that we should meet in our daily lives. Starting with the Opening Ceremony on June 1, Symposiums discussing youth policies and education will be held on June 2 and June 3. This summit is also being planned as a celebration with exhibitions and performances, creative competitions, festivities and workshops, as well as trips and parties that concretely realize the fundamental spirit of the summit.

2009 Seoul Youth Creativity Summit will be a festive place where you can experience “connection and communication,” “participation and public ownership,” and “reciprocity and friendship.
