Youth Conferences

The 2009 Seoul Youth Creativity Summit & Festival will offer a variety of conference programs for youth to find solutions to the problems that they are faced with. HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity and the haja Production School come together over a great distance to hold the second conference; we will have a conference where we invite youth with the disposition and desire to grow into creative readers to search for the ways that society must change for youth to be happy. Moreover, we can hear the voices of twenties youth living as producers, going beyond the role of cultural consumer.

➀ Youth Creative Leader Roundtable
-Topic: “What is the one thing needed for a city where youth are happy”
-Participants: 88 high school first- and second-year students (ages 16-18), by recommendation of the principal (five students per school maximum).
-Location: Namsan Art Center, The Literature House Seoul
-Program: June 1 invitation to the opening ceremony, June 2 participation in the symposium, June 2 roundtable

➁ 20-Year- Old Youth Imagination Forum
-Topic: Building 20-Year- Old Youth Creativity Network-Can 20-Year-Old Youth
-Participants: Youth ages 19-25
-Location: Sanlim Literature Hall, the Literature House Seoul
-Program: June 3 6:00-8:00 pm

➂ Youth Video Conference
-Topic: Creative Solutions of Youth for Climate Change
-Participants: Students from HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity and the haja Production School
-Location: Sanlim Literature Hall, The Literature House Seoul
